    Robertson 2-6 Murphy

    What a remarkable conclusion.

    Robertson 2-5 Murphy

  3. Robertson reduces arrears with first century of the matchpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time

    Robertson 2-4 Murphy

A collector's item. Shaun Murphy misses a black off the spot after knocking in a far more difficult red along the bottom cushion.

He was starting to look unplayable and could've been forgiven for thinking he'd broken the back of the match but Neil Robertson is not done yet.

He knocks in the 967th century of his career to get back to 4-2. He trailed John Higgins 5-1 before winning 6-5. Could he produce another famous fightback?

Shaun Murphy's match-play today has been exceptional. He looks in stroke and all departments of his game are in full working order.

  5. Postpublished at 15:01 Greenwich Mean Time

    Robertson 1-4 Murphy

Neil Robertson crafts a break of 66 as he closes in reducing his arrears but he can't knock a long red into the top left corner, which happens to be frame ball.

A few shots later he miscues playing off the baulk cushion and all of a sudden he is second favourite to win the frame.

Shaun Murphy routinely clears all the balls, with his own break of 66 and pinches the frame by a point on the black.

  6. Murphy in command at the intervalpublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time

    Robertson 1-3 Murphy

Shaun Murphy is on all out attack mode today. A break of 67 arrives after Neil Robertson sloppily goes in off playing a dump shot and he then decides to roll into the pack with no obvious next red.

Neil Robertson plays up towards baulk but doesn't spot a plant in the pack, which the Englishman finds to finish off the frame and give himself a healthy lead at the mid-session interval.

  7. Murphy back in frontpublished at 14:18 Greenwich Mean Time

    Robertson 1-2 Murphy

After a couple of quick fluent frames, the third which lasts 29 minutes is a lot more scrappy.

Shaun Murphy comes out the right side of it after a long tactical battle on the final red, with Neil Robertson needing a snooker.

  8. Robertson levels in high-quality startpublished at 13:45 Greenwich Mean Time

    Robertson 1-1 Murphy

Shaun Murphy's break-off shot leaves Neil Robertson with a long red to the bottom left corner pocket and the frame is done.

The Australian enjoys a run of 79 to take the frame.

This is showing signs of being an absolute classic.

  9. Clinical Murphy takes openerpublished at 13:30 Greenwich Mean Time

    Robertson 0-1 Murphy

Neil Robertson gets in first but breaks down on 35 after attempting to aggressively open the reds and losing position.

The Australian plays a sloppy safety shot and is severely punished by Shaun Murphy, who clears the table with a wonderful break of 90.

    That was clinical.
