O’Sullivan 11-8 Si
A familiar intake of breath as Si sees a table-long red clatter the jaws and away. He's fluked a safety on the simplest red for Ronnie O'Sullivan though. He plays a double up the table.

Trump 11-8 Brecel
Luca Brecel has done very little wrong.
But Judd Trump has done an awful lot right.
Three frames. He's won all three, and is now two away from the semi-finals.
O’Sullivan 11-8 Si
Another fine long red from Si to open up frame 20. He's on the yellow, too.

Who isn't watching both tables? Hazel practically dared us to in her intro!
Che Seabourne, West Bridgford, Notts.
Ronnie got bored because he was so far ahead and he stopped trying. We’ve seen it time and again. Now his opponent has found a lot of confidence from that and Ronnie is in danger of letting it slip.

We here would love to see Luca prove that his championship win wasn't a fluke!!

O’Sullivan 11-8 Si
Ronnie misses a very tough blue but takes the frame and has a three-frame lead once more!
How important could that be?
There's a century chance on the table.

O'Sullivan came up with the answer. This has been a wonderful break, a wonderful response from the seven-times champion.
O’Sullivan 10-8 Si
Every shot looks a struggle for O'Sullivan but he's making it work. And then there's glimmers of magic like that, potting the yellow and screwing the white six feet down the table to cannon the cluster of reds and open up a frame-winning chance.
From workman to wizard in a few rubs of chalk.

That's the best shot Ronnie has played tonight. A wonderful red.
O’Sullivan 10-8 Si
Ronnie develops the pack with a a fine pot and is a bit unlucky to be left a very tough red. He makes it though, and suddenly is in the frame.
O’Sullivan 10-8 Si
Si Jiahui slumps on the table after another error leaves him out of position and brings his break of 28 to an end. A chance for Ronnie to find some rhythm - and he pots the long red to waves of Crucible cheer.

Where's the red ball goooiiinngg????
O’Sullivan 10-8 Si
Si Jiahui hits another absolute blockbuster of an opening red from behind the baulk line. SMASHED into the pocket. He's left tight on the cushion but makes the black too.
His confidence will be climbing by the minute out there - ah and then he flukes a red into the middle too!
O’Sullivan 10-8 Si
A knock of 35 is enough for Si to take the second frame of the night. Ronnie O'Sullivan has barely been in the balls in the two frames so far and his lead has been chopped.
He doesn't look too happy in his seat, but I'm not sure he often does, does he?...

Come on then...
Who's actually watching both matches at the same time!?

Si has missed a few easy pots but when you are not punished you can forget about them easily. I wouldn't be getting worried about Ronnie just yet...

Paul Curran: Ronnie can't pot a ball - could slip up here tonight.
O’Sullivan 10-7 Si

Ronnie O'Sullivan has made a number of unforced errors in this match so far but like in his opening two matches of the tournament he has not always been punished.
It is surely a case of now or never though for Si Jiahui this evening.
He badly needs to capitalise on every opportunity if he is to turn this match around, having already let a couple of good chances to take frames slip by this morning.
O’Sullivan 10-7 Si
Pressure, heat, ring rust, youth, age - whatever it is neither man is playing very well here as they exchange missed pots and loose shots.
It's a bit scattergun. Si bangs in a straight red to the middle to get back among the balls.
O’Sullivan 10-7 Si
Ahhh, Si has work to do potting the last loose red and as he puts a ton of side on the ball to try and bring it up the table for the blue he forgets about potting the red and hits the jaws.
BUT Ronnie then misses the black as he cannons some reds free. It's Si back at the table, 40-1 up in the frame...
