It was going to take a piece of brilliance to win that frame and Mark Williams produced it. The Welshman potted a superb brown, an awkward blue and then sunk the pink into the middle pocket.

He's annoyed with himself, he's given the cue a good old bashing there. You never see Mark Williams reacting like that.

Mark Williams compiles an impressive break of 47 then misses a red into the corner pocket. He's furious with himself and whacks his own cue with his right hand.

Mark Williams leaves Judd Trump a straightforward pot after a miscued safety shot and decides to hand the frame to his opponent. An important frame for Trump after Williams seemed to have the wind in his sails.

Mark Williams fouls after he goes in-off attempting to pot a red into the middle. With two reds remaining he's left needing two snookers but seems happy to keep Judd Trump on the table for a little longer rather than conceding.

He's done it again! Twice, in fact. Judd Trump sinks his second and third doubles as he lights up what has otherwise largely been a battling frame. He's in prime position to bank it with 53-0 lead and 59 left on the table.

Early in the 14th frame Judd Trump misses the cut on an awkward black after a break of 25 but Mark Williams is unable to hit the middle pocket with a tricky red.

You can sense the nerves at the Crucible. Fine margins.

Trump then returns then produces a stunning double. Wow.

Judd Trump is certainly having to go through the mill with Mark Williams who is playing some wonderful stuff.

A bit of poor positional play from Judd Trump on one of the two remaining reds leaves Mark Williams an easy pot and rather than let him take it the former concedes the frame.

All the momentum is with Williams now as he moves within one frame of his opponent. Real grit and determination from the Welshman when it looked like he could get blown away at the start of the session.

Every frame vital here so this one becomes a bit more nip and tuck as both players opt for safety.

Judd Trump leaves Mark Williams a tricky red, which he cuts right into the middle of the corner pocket which gets the Welshman going again.

Williams clears all but two of the remaining reds but with 43 left on the table and 44 needed by Trump the frame continues.

A break of 20 and then Judd Trump looks up to the heavens after snookering himself on the pink so is forced to play a safety shot. Door left ajar for Mark Williams.
