Great Britain's Michael Jamieson has added to his 200m breaststroke gold medal at the 2013 World Cup series with 100m breaststroke silver in Dubai.

The 25-year-old finished 0.41 seconds behind Australia's Kenneth To.

Sophie Allen also collected a silver medal in the 200m breaststroke after finishing fourth and seventh respectively in the 200m butterfly and 50m breaststroke finals.

Allen lost out on gold to Russia's Iuliia Efimova (two minutes 19.73secs).

On the opening day, Scotland's Jamieson had led the qualifiers from the morning heats before winning the 200m breaststroke final in two minutes 6.68 seconds - 1.5 seconds clear of the field.

Fran Halsall finished fourth in the 50m freestyle after being beaten to bronze by Denmark's Jeanette Ottesen.

South Africa's Chad le Clos narrowly missed a new 200m butterfly world record.

The Olympic champion, who set the standard of 1:49.04 in Eindhoven earlier this year, clocked 1:49.07.

Of the other Britons in action, Georgia Davies was fifth in the 50m backstroke, while Sophie Allen was sixth in the 100m breaststroke and Liam Tancock eighth in the 100m backstroke.
