Matt Richards will defend his British 200m freestyle title against two of his Olympic gold medal-winning team-mates at the Aquatics GB Swimming Championships - and you can follow it live on the BBC.

Richards, Duncan Scott and James Guy were part of the quartet that powered to victory at Paris 2024, retaining their 200m freestyle relay title and securing Team GB's only swimming gold medal alongside team-mate Tom Dean.

Triple Paralympic gold medallists Poppy Maskill and Alice Tai will also be in action as part of the integrated Para-swimming and swimming schedule.

Nearly 1,000 swimmers will compete at the London Aquatics Centre, with 36 British titles to be won across six days of racing.

No Peaty, but plenty of entertainment

Adam Peaty has confirmed he is aiming to compete at a fourth Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028, but he will not be in action in London after deciding to take a two-year break from competitive swimming.

However, the meet is packed with intriguing contests, including in the women's 200m freestyle with Freya Colbert defending her title against former champion Freya Anderson.

Four-time Paralympic champion Maisie Summers-Newton joins Tai and Maskell on a packed Para-swimming programme.

Those who meet qualifying standards and finish in the top two in their event will be among the 30 British swimmers heading to Singapore for the World Championships this summer.

However, athletes who won medals at the Olympics in Paris have already earned their place on the British team. Last summer, Richards added a silver in the 200m freestyle and Scott did the same in the 200m individual medley, while Guy and Dean qualify through their relay gold medals and Ben Proud is on the plane by virtue of his silver medal in the 50m free.
