Tara Moore doping clearance decision to be challenged by Tennis Integrity Agency

The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) is to appeal against the decision that Briton Tara Moore was not to blame for a positive doping test.
Moore, 31, was ranked as Britain's leading women's doubles player when she was provisionally banned in May 2022, but always maintained her innocence.
She tested positive for nandrolone and boldenone while competing in Bogota, Colombia the previous month.
Last month, her provisional suspension was immediately lifted.
An independent tribunal decided contaminated meat was the source of the prohibited substances detected - and that the player "bore no fault or negligence".
However, the ITIA is appealing against the independent tribunal's decision about the nandrolone ingested, with that appeal to take place at the Court of Arbitration for Sport at a future date.
In response to the independent tribunal's ruling in December, Moore said she had suffered "19 months of lost time and emotional distress" with her reputation damaged as a result of the case.
"It's going to take more than 19 months to rebuild, repair and recuperate what we've been through," she wrote on X., external
"But we will come back stronger than ever."
