Five British men won their first-round Wimbledon qualifying matches as they began their bid for a place in the main draw.
Oliver Tarvet was among those to impress at Roehampton, beating 14th seed Terence Atmane 6-1 7-6 (7-2).
The 21-year-old is a student at the University of San Diego and currently plays in the American college NCAA system.
Tarvet hit 22 winners on his way to victory over his French opponent and will play a fellow debutant, Canada's Alexis Galarneau, in the next round.
Players must win three matches to advance through qualifying and join the 12 British men already in the singles draw for Wimbledon, which begins on 30 June.
There was also an impressive win for British number 10 Paul Jubb, who saw off 19th seed Thiago Agustin Tirante 6-3 6-2.
