The big question is, did Tajana Maria's youngest daughter Cici sleep through the winning moment?

Maria's family have been courtside all week to watch her compete.

The 37-year-old took two maternity breaks away from the Tour to have her two daughters.

Brilliant moments for the family for her to come back to win here.

She has said she wants to continue until she has played doubles with eldest daughter Charlotte, who often hits with her on the practice court at tournaments.

Tatjana Maria arrived in west London on a run of nine losses.

She has now won seven matches - two in qualifying and five in the main draw - to take her first title at this level.

And, at 37-years-old, she is the oldest woman to win a title at this level and the oldest at any level since Serena Williams in Aukland in 2020.

She is one of five qualifiers to reach the final of a WTA 500 event.

Maria will move up to number 43 in the world when the new rankings are published tomorrow. She started the week as world number 88.

Queen's champion Tatjana Maria speaking to BBC Sport:

"A dream come true. I came here I was never thinking I could hold the trophy at the end. When we arrived my little girl said 'wow that's a nice trophy, so big' and I said 'OK let's go for it I will try to win it'. And in the end I've won it, it's incredible. So happy.

"Everything is possible if you believe in it. You go your way, doesn't matter which it is but you have to keep going. I want to show this to my kids and hopefully they are proud. It's amazing."

How will you celebrate? "I don't know. I was supposed to drive to Nottingham but for sure we'll celebrate. This doesn't happen every week so we have to celebrate with something. I think the kids will probably want some crepes with nutella!"
