Boom and boom. Two aces from Sinner help him hold to love for what? The fourth time tonight?
Rublev's not getting any chances on the top seed's serve. I wonder what he can do to switch things up. He looks out of ideas.

*Sinner 6-1 6-3 0-0 Rublev
When I saw today's schedule I thought we were going to be in for a real evening treat on Court Philippe Chatrier. Maybe even a five-setter.
Jannik Sinner's had other plans. He sneaks up on you, he never really looks that dominant during the rallies, but somehow most points end up going in his favour.
Blink and suddenly you've missed him go two sets up.

Sinner's cruising towards the quarters.

No slowing down. This time Rublev holds in double-quick time in a game dominated by first serves and volleys.
Sinner 6-1 4-2 Rublev*
Boom. Sinner gallops to his hold by getting over the ball and dispatching a brutal forehand down the line. I think he got air-time when he struck it.
