Draper shows his frustrations as he hits a double fault, kicking the dirt at the baseline and berating himself.

Bublik has got him rattled and he's going to need to find something a bit different to get back into this.

  2. 'Norrie should be proud of himself'published at 17:30 British Summer Time 2 June

It was a really good run for Norrie. I think he should be proud for him getting his tennis back on track again. It's been a really difficult year for him.

No disgrace to him going out to Djokovic in this court today.

  3. Djokovic makes more historypublished at 17:30 British Summer Time 2 June

    Norrie 2-6 3-6 2-6 Djokovic

Every Novak Djokovic victory seems to be accompanied by a quite silly stat.

Here's a few after that victory over Cameron Norrie took him into the French Open quarter-finals:

    • he has broken the record for the most quarter-finals reached at a single Grand Slam event (19)
    • he is the second man to win 100 men’s singles matches at Roland Garros, after Rafael Nadal (112)
    • the 38-year-old is the oldest Roland Garros quarter-finalist since 1971
    • he extends his spotless record in French Open fourth-round matches to 19-0
    • he has reached the quarter-finals at Roland Garros for a 16th straight year

Now then, how can Draper respond here?

He does well to move out to 15-30 on the Bublik serve but continues to be frustrated as the Kazakh pulls out every shot in his arsenal to take the game.

It's another drop shot that has Draper chasing forward before Bublik sends a lovely passing shot down the line to seal the hold.

Are you not entertained? Bublik is turning Lenglen into his Colosseum.

The variety and quality which he is playing with is whipping up the crowd, while his success with the drop-shot is particularly enthralling them.

Draper enjoyed plenty of success with the same shot against Brazilian teenager Joao Fonseca on the same court.

Now he's being outplayed at his own game.

He's got it with, you've guessed it, another drop shot.

Bublik gets the break of serve and there wasn't much else Draper could do there. Brilliant from the Kazakh.

How has he got to some of those?

Bublik has the crowd on their feet and raises his arms in response as he brings up break point with another sublime drop shot.

His 6 foot 5 frame moves so well around the court to meet the returns and the crowd are totally locked in.

    Well that is lovely.

Draper gets out to game point but Bublik is in the right place at the right time once again to deliver the drop shot and take us back to deuce.

It's 100 wins at the French Open for Novak Djokovic!

He was far too good for Cameron Norrie today. The Briton's best ever French Open run comes to an end.

    Oh hello.

Draper finds a drop shot of his own to move to game point but sends one long for deuce.

Is there an opening here for Bublik?

A couple of uncharacteristic misses from Novak Djokovic give Cameron Norrie a glimmer of hope at 0-30.

Can he keep this going a bit longer?

How many times have we seen that drop shot deployed so effectively by Bublik this match?

I'll tell you. He's hit six drop shot winners so far. He does it again to take the hold.

  14. 'Norrie is thinking do or die'published at 17:19 British Summer Time 2 June

Norrie came out with a great attitude in this match, he has been throwing everything, even the kitchen sink at Djokovic. It's just the belief isn't it.

It looks as if Norrie is thinking 'do or die' now and putting pace on those shots.

A solid service game for Draper to kick off set three.

    Bublik 5-7 6-3 0-0 Draper*

Well this is where things get interesting.

Bublik said he didn't think he could match Draper physically and it looks like we could end up going the distance here.

  18. 'Bublik has just been up to the task'published at 17:14 British Summer Time 2 June

    Bublik 5-7 6-3 0-0 Draper*

    Annabel Croft
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds

Alexander Bublik is just middling the ball so well. He is just riffling it out of the centre of the strings and getting Jack Draper much more on the defensive than he would like. He just has that natural ability to create power on the ball effortlessly.

There isn't a lot that Draper did wrong in that set, Bublik has just been up to the task.

  19. Djokovic holds servepublished at 17:14 British Summer Time 2 June

    *Norrie 2-6 3-6 1-5 Djokovic

Cameron Norrie has won just two points in the past four games. Novak Djokovic has been good, but it feels like Norrie might be struggling with that ankle issue a bit more than he's letting on here.

He lands a forehand to make it three points in five games, and gets another as Djokovic nets, but the sixth seed makes a drop shot to close in on the quarter-finals.

That's five games in a row for the 24-time major winner.

  20. Game and second set - Bublikpublished at 17:12 British Summer Time 2 June

    Bublik 5-7 6-3 Draper

    What a shot!!

Bublik looks all but out of the point having missed his first opportunity to take the set before Draper dictates the next from the baseline.

But Bublik, at full stretch, meets the ball at the net to send over a lovely backhand drop shot.

That one has the crowd on their feet as Bublik levels things up before set three!
