There's been a bit of anger and frustration in Katie Boulter's last couple of points. She is pretty much playing her best tennis now.

She has been chirping a bit at her player box, which isn't like her, so that shows she is frustrated because she knows she can play at a higher level than this.

A very important service hold for Katie Boulter, it just keeps her in the match here.

You never know what might happen so you have to ask the questions. She isn't too far away at 4-3 down because one break of serve and she is right back in it.

If she gets a good feeling of the ball, she can do this.

  15. Boulter holdspublished at 17:29 British Summer Time

    Boulter 4-6 3-4 Kostyuk*

Katie Boulter takes another no-nonsense hold, this time to 15.

    Musetti 6-7 (3-7) 6-3 0-0 Mpetshi-Perricard*

  17. Kartal staying 'relaxed'published at 17:28 British Summer Time

Sonay's played so much better in this second set. She's got Haddad Maia moving more and she's playing much more into the Haddad Maia backhand, so she's unable to attack with her forehand like she did in the first set.

She's stayed very relaxed and she needs to be with the way she hits the ball with a lot of racquet speed, spin and variety.

Haddad Maia is a great fighter. You wouldn't know what the score is from this set in terms of her body language. It's very positive. She will fight, but she's certainly not hitting the ball well.

Kartal gets a look at a second serve but sends her return a fraction long.

A big roar from the Brazilian as she drills a cross-court backhand for a winner, but Kartal takes control of the next point with some powerful groundstrokes.

    Another deuce to come...
