We're about to have a third Brit on court, as the rain has stopped and Jacob Fearnley has returned to court to face French world number 78 Arthur Cazaux, whom he trailed 2-0 before rain stopped play earlier.

The 23-year-old Fearnley, ranked 92nd, defeated Australian Nick Kyrgios in straight sets in the first overseas Grand Slam match of his fledgling career.

"All things considered I think it has to be the best match I've ever played," said Fearnley, who only left university last April.

"I was extremely nervous. It wasn't really until I walked out there that I actually was kind of calm. Honestly, it was one of the best experiences of my life."

    *Gauff 6-3 1-0 Burrage

    Just too good!

Coco Gauff capitalises on her first opportunity in set two with a blistering backhand into the corner to seal a perfect start.

A set, and now a break, to the good. The American is in total control right now.

Jack Draper is doing so well defending the aggressiveness of Thanasi Kokkinakis, the pressure is on the British shoulders.

  4. Draper holdspublished at 08:58 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 5-5 Kokkinakis*

Thanasi Kokkinakis lifts the ball high to try and get back in position, but Jack Draper is there and he works the point well before dinking over at the net.

And there's the hold. A puff of the cheeks from Jack Draper as he gets that one over the line.

  5. 'Burrage has been right there'published at 08:57 Greenwich Mean Time

I think Jodie Burrage has been right there, I don't think it's been so one-sided, I do think she needs to clean up a bit on the forehand unforced errors, she has been in a lot of Coco Gauff's service games.

It's very close but it's just the minute things, she's got to take confidence that she can hang in these rallies especially in the backhand cross-court exchanges.

She is respecting Gauff's game a bit too much and the power and athleticism and I think this is what the lower rank players think when they go against a high seed.

    Gauff 6-3 0-0 Burrage*

Jodie Burrage needs a positive start to set two, but after a lengthy baseline exchange it's the British number seven who blinks first as a forehand narrowly misses the line to give Coco Gauff 15-30.

Burrage attacks an important fourth point, burying a cross-court forehand to avoid facing a couple of high-pressure points, but a miss takes the pair to deuce.

    *Draper 4-5 Kokkinakis

A yell of relief from Jack Draper as he pulls level at 30-30 after Thanaski Kokkinakis lofts a forehand long.

The pressure is on the British number one to see this game out.

  8. Postpublished at 08:55 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Draper 4-5 Kokkinakis

Dominant hitting from Thanasi Kokkinakis who controls the point from the back of the court, sending Jack Draper one way then the other until the Briton can run no more.

There's a huge cheer as the Australian moves within two points of the opening set as Draper nets. 0-30.

Jack Draper's physical condition is not as easy to assess as Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Having said that, it looks to me like Draper is moving well enough and no obvious sign of trouble with his hip.

But even that isn't enough to get anywhere Kokkinakis' ridiculous serve.

  10. 'Kokkinakis breezing through service games'published at 08:53 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 4-4 Kokkinakis*

    Mark Woodforde
17-time Grand Slam doubles champion on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds

Thanasi Kokkinakis has been clearly saving those serves for when the match was under way, he's been sending down some big big serves and breezing through his service games. He's been very close to breaking Jack Draper's serve.

  11. Kokkinakis holds to lovepublished at 08:53 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Draper 4-5 Kokkinakis

Jack Draper will have to step it up a gear if he's to get anything at all on Thanasi Kokkinakis' serve.

The world number 71 is breezing through his service games and he wraps that one up with another ace.

Jodie Burrage, to her credit, is trying to take the points to Coco Gauff, but the American finishes off the first set with a classy hold to love - eventually ending Burrage's resistance with a forehand as the Briton sprints from side to side.

    Draper 4-4 Kokkinakis*

Jack Draper isn't having the same success on serve that his opponent is enjoying, but he gets through that game unscathed despite another double fault.

Nothing to separate these two at the moment.

  14. Burrage holds servepublished at 08:49 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Gauff 5-3 Burrage

B-E-A-utiful drop shot from Jodie Burrage, measured to perfection to leave Coco Gauff no hope of chasing it down.

It's something to build on, that's for sure, and she shakes her fist in celebration after finding a couple of aces to settle the game rather efficiently.

Burrage turns to her team, wide-mouthed in amazement that she just pulled off that quick-fire double. Great stuff.

  15. Kokkinakis holds to lovepublished at 08:47 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Draper 3-4 Kokkinakis

Ace number four opens up a 30-0 lead for Thanasi Kokkinakis and there's no looking back from there, with a forehand winner and another unreturnable serve sealing the deal.

That's two love holds in a row for the Australian.

  16. Gauff holds servepublished at 08:46 Greenwich Mean Time

    Gauff 5-2 Burrage*

An impressive love hold for Coco Gauff restores her three-game lead after Jodie Burrage threatened to make this first set quite complicated.

The third seed has rediscovered her rhythm and will look to put pressure on the Briton now.

  17. Draper holdspublished at 08:44 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 3-3 Kokkinakis*

The Australian looked like he took a couple of painkillers during that changeover and he was looking to his team for advice. How big of a part is that shoulder issue going to play for him today?

Thanasi Kokkinakis can't deal with some hefty serves from Jack Draper, and the British number one wraps up another hold with a piercing forehand winner.

  18. 'Burrage has higher winning percentage off second serve'published at 08:44 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Gauff 4-2 Burrage

    Coco Vandeweghe
Former two-time Grand Slam semi-finalist on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

What I'm finding very interesting is Jodie Burrage has a higher winning percentage off her second serve verses her first serve, her second serve has a bit more top spin and a bit of a kick.

  19. Postpublished at 08:44 Greenwich Mean Time

    Jonathan Jurejko

Thanasi Kokkinakis is serving incredibly at the start of this match - even more impressive given the shoulder issue.

The Aussie has banged down 15 first serves so far - missing just two - and winning 13 of these points.

He is serving at a very decent average speed of 192kph.

  20. Gauff restores advantagepublished at 08:43 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Gauff 4-2 Burrage

Jodie Burrage has been serving well, despite her current tight spot, and manages to see off the first two break points.

But Coco Gauff is allowed a look at a second serve and eventually wins a backhand exchange to reassert herself in the first set.

That will be a real disappointment for Burrage after her great work to break back.
