    Blimey! More drama.

Alcaraz's second serve is called out and overruled by the umpire.

Zverev is fuming again. He reckons it is another mark and firmly argues his case.

Imagine if Alcaraz holds after this...

  4. Alcaraz saves break pointspublished at 18:00 British Summer Time 9 June

    Zverev 3-6 6-2 7-5 1-6 1-2 Alcaraz*

    Oh what a shot Alcaraz.

When it gets to this stage there's barely anything in it and the Spaniard's forehand looks so borderline but it's in.

    From 0-40 to deuce.

    Zverev 3-6 6-2 7-5 1-6 1-2 Alcaraz*

    First break point saved.

A big serve from Alcaraz on the next point, it's out.

The Spaniard goes again and it's called out. The umpire comes down from the chair to check and decides it's good. Zverev is not happy at all and charges over to argue the toss.

That's an argument he's not going to win. The point will be replayed.

Alcaraz is getting really tight and edgy. You can't trust him at the moment and I don't think he can trust himself.

The battle on the court is now being mirrored in the stands.

A 'Carlos!' chant starts and the Zverev fans try to drown it out.

    Nervous energy everywhere.

    Zverev 3-6 6-2 7-5 1-6 1-2 Alcaraz*

That break back looks pretty likely here!

The two players engage in a lengthy rally that you just can't take your eyes off until Alcaraz misses the forehand to give Zverev three break points.

I think there's every chance Zverev gets the break back at some point. I don't think Alcaraz looks convincing at all.

The atmosphere on Chatrier is getting towards fever pitch as Alcaraz misses the drop shot for 0-30.

Zverev needs to move on from that game. And quickly.

He takes the first point off the Alcaraz serve with some big hitting from the baseline.

The trainer is on court but Alcaraz didn't have treatment this time, just a conversation. That is good news.

Zverev's walk has just got slower and slower and slower in between points.

Got it. Not a good service game from Zverev and what a time to make those mistakes.

I think the difference won't be physical, it'll be mental. That is why I picked Alcaraz in five sets and I'm sticking with it.

Three break point gifts for Alcaraz.

Ouch. That's two big mistakes from Zverev already on serve.

First he misses the forehand then has a simple volley in front of him but can only net. 0-30.

    He hangs his head.

Alcaraz is really working well when he has variety and gives Zverev no pace to work with.

The shade is creeping across Chatrier with two third of the court now in darkness.

Alcaraz makes a couple of errors and it looks like he's letting Zverev back in but he produces a big ace to take the hold.

There's not much energy going through Zverev's legs and Alcaraz is very aware of it.
