Djokovic shocked by retirement of 'greatest rival' Nadal

Novak Djokovic, the 24-time Grand Slam winner, says he is "shocked" and "overwhelmed" by the news that Rafael Nadal will retire at the end of the season.

Reflecting on the exit of three of the 'Big Four', Djokovic said "a part of me left with them" as Nadal follows Andy Murray and Roger Federer in choosing to retire from the sport.
