Watch: 'Eradicate silly environments' - Heatley
Carrick Rangers winger Paul Heatley tells BBC Sport NI's Thomas Niblock that he believes the time is right to improve the safety of areas surrounding pitches at Irish League grounds.
Heatley was speaking after he was injured following a collision with a perimeter wall at Taylors Avenue during Saturday's abandoned Irish Premiership game between Carrick Rangers and Bangor.
"I've seen the progression throughout the years [in the Irish League], now is the time to really step things up and eradicate silly environments like that that put players' safety at risk," said Heatley.
