'You don't gripe before a game' - McGuinness on Donegal statement

Donegal manager Jim McGuinness tells BBC Sport NI's Mark Sidebottom that he did not support the decision of the Donegal county board to raise the issue of his side's six-day turnaround before their All-Ireland quarter-final win over Monaghan at Croke Park on Saturday.

McGuinness says the first he knew of the statement was when he read it on his phone.

Donegal trailed by seven points at half-time against the Farney county but won the second half 1-15 to 0-5 to turn the game round and emerge 1-26 to 1-20 victors.
