Aled Sion Davies eyes Rio discus gold defence

Welsh Paralympic gold medallist Aled Sion Davies expects to be concentrating only on defending his discus crown at the 2016 Rio Games.

Davies won the F42 discus at the London 2012 Paralympic Games as well as a shot put bronze.

But on Twitter 21-year-old Davies said: "I will no longer be participating in the shot-putt as it's been removed from Rio [event list]."

All my time and efforts are now on the plate [discus]!"
