Jamie Donaldson withdraws from Nedbank Challenge

Jamie Donaldson has enjoyed a stellar year including helping Europe to Ryder Cup victory

Welsh golfer Jamie Donaldson has withdrawn from the Nedbank Challenge at Sun City, South Africa.

The 39-year-old completed his first round with a two over par 74.

But Donaldson went straight to the medical centre afterwards suffering from an extreme migraine and has withdrawn from the elite 30-man field.

Donaldson clinched the points that secured the 2014 Ryder Cup for Europe at Gleneagles in September after beating US opponent Keegan Bradley 4&3.
