Jamie Donaldson survived the cut at the Masters with a second-round 71 to end the day on one over par overall.

The 39-year-old had finished the first round two over, but improved on Friday in Augusta with a round that held five birdies but also four bogeys.

That left the Welshman still in the competition but 15 shots off leader Jordan Spieth on 14 under.

Former winner Ian Woosnam, 57, missed the cut after his two over saw him finish on five over overall.

World number 27 Donaldson finished joint-14th in 2014, while Woosnam claimed the famous green jacket in 1991.
