Great Britain reignited their bid to qualify for the women's curling semi-finals with an 8-7 round-robin win against China at Sochi 2014.
Skip Eve Muirhead, who missed a high-risk shot to hand Canada victory on Wednesday, made amends to clinch victory with her final stone.
"I'm really glad I managed to play a great shot to finish," said Muirhead.
Britain's men beat the United States 5-3, their fourth win in five, to go equal second in the group standings.
Muirhead's all-Scottish rink are now joint fifth in the women's pool stage after suffering two defeats in their opening three matches.
After an opening game defeat by Sweden, they bounced back by thrashing the United States before losing to Canada.
Britain have five more games left as they aim to finish in the top four and qualify for the semi-finals.
"I am just really glad we came back with a strong performance," said Muirhead, whose team trailed 2-0 after the first end against China.
"It was always going to be a tight match as China are a top, top team.
"I felt good out there. Myself and the girls stepped it up. We got a good solid performance, which will really lift us."
Team GB men's curlers beat the United States 5-3 for their fourth win out of five and second place in the standings.
Men's captain David Murdoch said: "That was just a commanding performance and I think we really dominated them from start to finish. We were aggressive in the first five ends, got our lead and were clinical after that.
"We are drawing really well and were getting our rocks in perfect spots and causing them all sorts of trouble. There was some great shot-making today."
