Ellie Koyander set for Freestyle Moguls Europa Cup medal

Ellie Koyander remains on course to become the first Great Britain skiier to win an overall medal at the FIS Freestyle Moguls Europa Cup tour.

The 23-year-old finished second in the penultimate round of races in Jyvaskyla, Finland, scoring 70.23.

Koyander's performance consolidated her position on the overall leaderboard behind Norway's Aurora Amundsen to leave Koyander on target for silver.

She has finished on the podium five times in the 10 races held so far.

Koyander, who is currently ranked 40th in the world, will attempt to secure her first Europa Cup tour top spot in the final two races in Sweden next week.

"I'm really pumped to be performing so well," Koyander said.

"I just love the feeling of consistently attacking the podium and I have been in the top five in every race."
