Great Britain's Matt Weston secured his first win of the 2023-24 Skelton World Cup season with victory in Innsbruck.

The world and European champion finished 0.15 seconds ahead of South Korea's Jung Seung-gi in Austria for a seventh career World Cup gold.

Craig Thompson nearly made it two Britons on the podium but finished 0.05 seconds behind third-placed Felix Keisinger of Germany after two runs.

Compatriot Marcus Wyatt, who was third in La Plagne last week, finished ninth.

Weston is now third in the overall standings after three rounds, with Olympic Champion Christopher Grotheer of Germany second and Jung first.

Thompson and Wyatt are fourth and fifth respectively.

The next race is in St. Moritz, Switzerland on 12 January.
