Bjorn the reindeer was finally caught by a woman in "festive gear"

Sometimes we at BBC Have Your Say struggle for jokes and have to plunder (pun-der?) the internet for your efforts.

When a reindeer broke loose (moose?) in Nottingham we wanted to see if you could do(e) better - or something of that elk.

A collection of your best tweets can be found here, external and several of our favourites, and some of your comments on Facebook, external (Facebuck?), have been selected below.

Thanks again for your puns and for (s)tagging us in your replies. You made our (cervi)day*.
