A bus in Plymouth which offers support to people during busy nightlife hours has temporarily moved to a new location.
The bus which operates on Saturday nights between 22:00 and 04:00 BST has moved to the DC2 bus stop on Derry's Cross roundabout.
Since its launch in 2023, the Safe Bus has helped hundreds of people who were feeling unwell, had been injured or needed time away from pubs or clubs.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the change was due to road works on Royal Parade planned for the next nine months.
The weekly service is run by safer nightlife group Best Bar None, the NHS and Western Medical Services.
PC Deb Hart said the bus is staffed by paramedics, security guards and taxi marshals.
"It provides a general safe space, medical provision, drink spiking tests and phone charging facilities.
"The power on the bus is charged by solar panels," she said.
The police said 90% of the hundreds of people who have used the service have been discharged at the scene by medical staff.
It said the bus had reduced pressure on police, ambulance and hospital services.
Along with its regular Saturday nights, the bus is scheduled to be in place for additional dates on Sunday 24 August, Friday 31 October and the 5, 12 and 19 December.
