An annual Christmas parade is returning to St Helier later.

The Jersey Battle of Flowers Christmas Parade is expected to see a series of festive-themed floats from different parishes heading through the streets of town.

The parade begins at 18:00 GMT on Conway Street and finishes at Parade Gardens, where the Christmas Village will be, said the Parish of St Helier. Road closures would be in place from 16:00 to 21:00.

Organisers said live performances would take place at the village from groups including The Riffs and Optimistic Voices beginning at 13:00. There will also be a food and entertainment zone.

The event was previously cancelled in 2024 due to bad weather.
