A seven-year-old from Walsall has set her sights on representing Team GB at a future Olympic Games.
Lauren’s passion for gymnastics began at the age of three when she began doing back flips and cartwheels around her living room, her mother Sasha said.
Inspired after watching Simone Biles’ career, she enrolled at the City Of Birmingham Gymnastics Club for Women's Artistic Elite and went on to become the 2024 Pre Excel 1 West Midlands Champion.
She now trains with Olympian Joe Fraser.
The budding gymnast said at the age of five, the first skill she learned was a lunge and now her favourite drill to perform is the half on vault.
“It’s really fun, I like when my coach pushes me so I can get better at gymnastics, ” she told BBC Radio WM.
While attending a gymnastics camp in Nottingham, she won trophies for the sport and was crowned Miss Beam.
With the Brisbane 2032 Olympics on her brain, Lauren's coaches are now training her to reach her dream.
