A teenager who died in a crash "brought light and kindness wherever he went", his family has said.

Kyle James Marshall Endean was in a blue Mini Cooper which left an unnamed road between Lerryn and Lostwithiel in Cornwall and crashed into a wall on 20 September.

The 18-year-old died at the scene alongside the other occupant who was in his 20s and owned the vehicle, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

His family described Mr Endean as "gentle, thoughtful and endlessly respectful".

Mr Endean's family said he had finished work shortly before the crash happened.

"Gentle, thoughtful and endlessly respectful, he was a true gentleman in every sense - someone who listened deeply, cared genuinely and made people feel valued," his family said.

"His warmth, quiet confidence and generous spirit left a mark on everyone who met him.

"Kyle's loss is immeasurable, and he will be profoundly missed by all who had the honour of knowing him."

A crowdfunder in Mr Endean's name has raised more than £17,000.

Police have asked anyone who witnessed the crash or had any information to contact them.
