A planning permission application has been submitted to build a new beachside café in Jersey.

The plans are a for a new "fully accessible beach kiosk" on land beside the public toilets at the bottom of La Haule Hill in St Brelade.

The existing men's and women's toilets would stay where they are, and the café would be located to their eastern side.

The application is set to be decided after 29 October.

In the application, developers have said the facility would be accessible for people in wheelchairs or with other disabilities.
