A new mural has been unveiled in collaboration with a local artist and secondary school students.

The painting was done at the Corbière public toilets in St Brelade by artist Ben Robertson and year nine art students from Grainville School.

The government said the artists worked for six weeks to design and create the mural by gridding the space and painting it.

It said the mural told three distinct stories about shipping, tourism, and nature.

The Minister for Infrastructure Constable Andy Jehan said the students and the artist "collaborated on a great piece of art".
