Community projects could benefit from up to £25,000 as part of the latest round of a funding initiative in Surrey.

The newest round of Crowdfund Guildford is open to submissions until 12 March.

Projects that help vulnerable groups, benefit wellbeing, and improve rural areas and green spaces are being encouraged.

Julia McShane, leader of Guildford Borough Council, said: "Your ideas matter and we're here to help make them happen."

She added: "If you have a vision for your community, Crowdfund Guildford is the number one way to get our support for your ideas."

The council is encouraging schools and parish councils to apply for funding.
