Students from universities in Plymouth are being invited by Red Bull to take part in one of its challenges.
The sports drink company said its Up The Mast challenge was a success in 2024 when it was hosted at St Andrews Harbour in Scotland.
The challenge involves running up a greased mast to grab a flag as quickly as possible with participants ending up in the water at the end.
Red Bull said the event was designed to "test competitors' speed, skill and sheer determination" and would also include entertainment and live music.
"The fastest to grab the flag in the final round will be declared the ultimate winner," it said.
The event, at the Barbican & Sutton Harbour, will take place between 14:00 and 17:00 BST and participants must be over the age of 18.
