A free festival which hopes to bring together the community, is set to be held in Bristol.
Knowle West Fest (KW Fest) will take place at Filwood Community Centre between 11:00 and 16:00 BST on Saturday and will include activities such as gymnastics performances, a reggae orchestra and an indoor market.
The event will also include a circus show and a Creative Canvas Tent, which will run workshops by local artists such as Daisy Hvnter, The Art of Kindness, Purple Pixies and Negative Thinking Darkroom.
Suzie Davison, Creative Projects Manager at Filwood Community Centre said: "Knowle West Fest is a fun-filled day celebrating and taking pride in our community, its spirit and creative talent."
Daisy Hvnter, a multi disciplinary artist from south Bristol, who also featured at street art festival Upest, said: "I have been facilitating creative workshops for KW Fest for the last three years and have been involved with other community focused creative projects in the area.
"This year, inspired by my recent piece at Upfest and this year’s KW Fest theme, I will be creating a collaborative artwork called 'Universe of Us' to bring our community together.
"This project communicates the message that each of our unique stories contributes to the beautiful tapestry of our collective experience."
The festival is a collaborative initiative by Filwood Community Centre and Knowle West Media Centre to celebrate local talent and bring together the community of Knowle.
Jasmine Loveys, Public Realm Producer, Knowle West Media Centre, said: "Here at Knowle West Media Centre, we're really excited to be collaborating with Filwood Community Centre on another Knowle West Fest.
She said the festival was a "brilliant opportunity for local people to gather and showcase" the area to visitors from further afield.
