UK reggae favourites UB40 are to play Liverpool as part of their next UK tour featuring 12 dates in June.
The band will perform at the M&S Bank Arena, which is one of the larger capacity venues in the tour.
They will play in the city on 12 June in a line-up that still includes four members of the original eight-piece group, who first hit the charts in 1980 with their single Food For Thought.
Two of the original band - sax player Brian Travers and singer and trumpeter Astro - are dead while founder member Ali Campbell, who fell out with his sibling Robin, tours with his own group while keyboard player Mickey Virtue left at the same time as Campbell.
The band, who formed in Birmingham in 1978, kick off the tour at the Brighton Centre on 1 June with further dates in Cardiff, London, Manchester, Nottingham, Hull, Glasgow, Leeds, Swansea, Plymouth and Bournemouth.
Their last show on the tour will be a homecoming gig at Birmingham's BP Pulse Live on 20 June.
Robin Campbell said: "We never take the privilege of playing live for granted, which is why we went everywhere we could on our last tour.
"After an incredible world tour, we can't wait to bring that energy back to UK stages in 2026."
