Sixth arrest made in murder investigation

A sixth person has been arrested in connection with the death of a 73-year-old man last month.

David Morgan, also known to some as Davie, was found dead at his home in Brook Street, Raunds, Northamptonshire, on the afternoon of 8 October.

A 46-year-old man from Wilby, near Wellingborough, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and was taken into police custody.

Officers previously arrested three women, aged 38, 42 and 42, and two men, aged 42 and 52. They have all been released on conditional bail.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to get in touch.
