A sea shanty group is marking the end of a charity's 30th anniversary celebrations with a concert.

Ambulance and Rescue Guernsey said the group GU10 would help raise funds for the Flying Christine III - the charity's marine ambulance.

The Flying Christine III marked its 30th anniversary in November last year.

Dean De La Mare, head of operations and founding member of GU10, said the concert would help fund the marine ambulance which relied on a combination of fundraising, donations, sponsorship, fees and subscriptions.

He said the concert would also mark GU10's 20th anniversary.

"I am proud to be able to celebrate our 20th anniversary whilst also raising money for this excellent cause.

"I hope lots of people will come along to celebrate these combined anniversaries with us."

The concert will take place at St James Concert and Assembly Hall at 19:30 BST.
