A planning application to build a new cafe at La Haule has been refused by politicians.

The plan for the accessible kiosk, which has been refused by planning, have meant changes to the beach front cycle track.

The applicant said the redesign would have given better access to the beach at St Aubin for disabled people.

Politicians accepted the recommendation that the scheme be refused on the grounds it would cause "significant risk" to walkers and cyclists.
