Police have arrested two more men following Sunday's suspected stabbing

Two further arrests have been made following a suspected stabbing in Devon on Sunday.

Police and ambulance services were called to Fore Street, Ivybridge, on Sunday at about 21:30 BST after reports of an altercation between several men.

Devon and Cornwall Police said a man, from Ivybridge, in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Ivybridge on Tuesday and is in police custody.

Another man, 53, also from Ivybridge, was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and is in police custody.

It follow the arrest of a 35-year-old man from Ivybridge on Monday on suspicion of affray.

A man in his 50s, who was taken to hospital on Sunday with suspected stab wounds following the incident, remains in hospital and is in a stable condition.
