More than 50 cyclists have set off for an eight-day ride around Brittany for Guernsey charity Only Fools and Donkeys.

The charity has raised more than £200,000 since it was founded in 2010 for projects which support children, young people and adults with learning difficulties and physical disabilities.

One of the fundraising aims for the 2024 ride, called the Mule d’Ane-versaire, is to purchase two adapted bikes for Wheels for You.

The new initiative has been set up to create accessible cycling opportunities for individuals who are unable to ride or access traditional two wheel bikes.

Riders, who set off from Government House in Guernsey on Saturday, will start their ride in France at St Malo.
