A man has pleaded not guilty to murdering another man at a pub in West Sussex.

Kieran Egan, 30, of Baldmoor Lake Road, Birmingham, denied the charge in a preliminary hearing at Lewes Crown Court on Monday.

He is expected to face trial in December.

David Hallatt, 57, from South Yorkshire, was at the Dolphin and Anchor in West Street, Chichester, in June, when he died at the scene of an attack.
