Man charged with murder and second arrest over Aberdeen death

A man has appeared in court, charged with the murder of a 25-year-old man who was fatally injured in Aberdeen.

Austin Ironside was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after emergency services were called to Skene Street on Sunday 3 August. He died two days later.

Scott Adams, 46, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court where he was charged with murder and robbery. He made no plea and was remanded in custody.

Meanwhile, a second man, 34, has been arrested and charged in connection with the death and is due to appear before Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Friday.
