A third member of the same family has died almost a month after a two-car crash.

Ralph James, 67, from Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan, died on 27 November after being injured on the A4050 in Barry on 2 November.

Mr James' cousin, Beverly Pugsley, and aunt, Madeline Brooks, died at the scene after the Nissan Micra they were travelling in crashed with an Audi.

Mr James' family said he was "loved by all his family and the wider community who knew him".

"He always had time for people and was well known.

“Words cannot express the loss we are presently feeling as a family, to lose so many members at one time is heart-breaking.

“Ralph will forever live on in our hearts and never be forgotten,” they added.
