Major delays are building up on the M62 motorway after a car was involved in a crash in Greater Manchester.

Fuel spilled over all lanes of the westbound carriageway between junctions 21 and 22 near Rochdale earlier.

National Highways said the "significant" spill meant motorists could not pass until the clean-up was complete.

It has closed the affected westbound section where about four miles of congestion have built up.
