A man was left seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in Bradford.

The 52-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car on Killinghall Road at the junction with Rochester Street at about 23:20 BST on 14 April.

West Yorkshire Police said he was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Initial investigations suggested he was struck by a dark-coloured vehicle similar to a Toyota Prius, the force added, with the car turning onto Rochester Street and failing to stop.

Police asked those who witnessed the crash or those with useful video footage to get in contact.
