Police appeal after motorcyclist killed in crash

A motorcyclist has been struck and killed by a car in Greater Manchester, police have said.

The 46-year-old man died at the scene on Partington Street in Failsworth, Oldham, at 15:40 BST on Tuesday.

The road was cordoned off while crash investigators examined the scene of the collision.

Greater Manchester Police, which has appealed for any witnesses or video footage, said the driver of the car remained at the scene after the crash.
