A teenager has appeared in court following a stabbing in Bath.

Harley Morgan, 18, of Blagdon Park, Whiteway, is charged with attempted murder and being in possession of a bladed article in a public place.

The charges relate to an incident which occurred in Terrace Walk, Bath, on 24 November at about 03:00 GMT.

A man sustained serious injuries which were believed to be life-changing and he remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Mr Morgan was remanded in custody following an appearance at Bristol Magistrates' Court and will next appear at Bristol Crown Court on 6 January.

A 19-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
