Visitors to Southport Air Show have been warned of a number of road closures this weekend.
The closures affect Marine Drive at Southport Pier and The Esplanade Roundabout, behind Pleasureland.
Merseyside Police said the traffic restrictions were being extended to the Fairway roundabout in the north and the Weld Road roundabout in the south.
The air show, which is expected to attract thousands of visitors to the resort, takes place between 10:00 and 17:00 BST on Saturday and Sunday.
'Expect security checks'
Event commander Ch Supt Claire Doyle said there would be an increased police presence at this year's event.
She urged people to plan their journeys in advance and to check traffic updates on the day, adding that they should expect to undergo security checks when entering the site.
The road closure is in place to enable static displays to be set up.
Those heading for the Promenade are advised to use the fairway or esplanade, or to use the Marine Way bridge.
Access to Ocean Plaza will remain open via the Marine Way bridge, the spokesperson added.
The roads will reopen at midnight on Sunday heading into Monday.
