Thirty seven dogs were seized as police arrested a man on suspicion of theft.

Norfolk Constabulary said it went to an address in Bawburgh, near Norwich, on Friday, where officers also seized 20 kayaks and plant machinery, including a digger.

A man, in his 40s, who was arrested at the scene on suspicion of three counts of theft, was released on bail, the force added.

Police said the dogs were being cared for by the RSPCA.
