Teenager arrested after man left with head injuries

A teenager has been arrested in connection with a disorder that left a man with head injuries.
Officers attended reports of a "large number of people fighting" on Boscombe Down Road in Amesbury at 22:00 BST on 4 May.
One man sustained an injury to his head and shoulder during the incident.
A 17-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and affray.
The teenager was taken to a police station for questioning and has since been released on conditional bail while further enquiries are completed.
Insp Russell Griffin said: “We understand this incident would have caused concern in the local community – please be reassured that an arrest has been made and we are continuing with our investigation today.
"Local neighbourhood officers will be carrying out patrols in the area – if you have concerns or would like to report anything related to this specific disorder, please do approach them.”
