Take That: Top 20 hits for Mancunians revealed
- Published
Take That are back (for good?) in Manchester on Tuesday for what was always going to be a major cultural event for the city.
The trio are set to play five gigs on consecutive nights to promote their upcoming album This Life, due out on 24 May.
But interest in the gig is even higher thanks to the chaos surrounding its original intended venue - the new £365m Co-op Live arena.
The concert hall was forced to cancel a series of high-profile gigs, including one by rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie as fans queued outside.
As it became clear the arena was not ready for Take That, patience ran out and the AO Arena stepped in to host the new run of shows.
With the venue drama hopefully sorted, BBC Radio Manchester can now reveal how deep is your love for the band's music.
We commissioned the UK Chart Company to compile the official Top 20 Take That songs according to listeners in Greater Manchester, based on sales, streams and downloads.
The list includes a strong showing from the 2006 comeback album Beautiful World, with Rule the World ruling the world at number one.
Patience and Shine both make the top five.
Back for Good is the only song from the band's 1990s heyday to hit the top five.
The full list is below, and you can listen to the countdown on BBC Sounds here.
