Kettering's annual Christmas market has been cancelled because of weather concerns

  • Published

The first of a town's planned Christmas markets has been cancelled because of a weather warning.

Forecasts predict strong winds and heavy rain across Northamptonshire from Friday to Sunday as Storm Darragh moves through the region.

Kettering's Christmas market, originally set for 7 December, is the third festive event in the county to be called off following cancellations in Oundle and Beckets Park.

There are two more markets planned in Kettering for 14 and 21 December.
